Thermowave Plate PL0200 of heat Exchanger
Plate for thermowave heat exchanger, model TL200.
Characteristics:
Length 795 mm Width 369 mm Thickness 0.5 - 0.8 mm
Material performance:
AISI 304 (EN 1.4301) Closed circuits for the circulation of chemically prepared water, pure glycols, oils.
AISI 316L (EN 1.4404) Open and closed circuits, river and wastewater with a chloride content of not more than 50 mg / l (free chlorine - not more than 5 mg / l).
Titanium Gr.1 (EN 3.7025) Liquids with a high concentration of chlorides (seawater, calcium chloride or sodium chloride solutions).
Heat Exchanger Plates
The plate is the main and main part of the plate heat exchanger. The depth and profile of the stamping, the thickness and material of the plate, the ratio of height to width - each of these parameters significantly affects the heat transfer process, and, as a result, the efficiency of the finished heat exchanger. When creating a specific type of plate, a series of design work is carried out, tests in laboratory conditions, after which refinement and optimization are all in order to achieve the maximum heat transfer coefficient of the plate.
The manufacture of plates is carried out by cold pressing (stamping) on special presses from previously cut to the desired size sheet blanks. The billets themselves enter the press coated with a special plastic film several tens of microns thick, which acts as a lubricant in the dry pressing of plates.
Most often, plates are made of AISI 304 steel (EN 1.4301),
AISI 316L (EN 1.4404), AISI 316 Ti (EN 1.4571), Titan Gr. 1, hastelloy, molybdenum steels; 0.5 - 0.8 mm thick.
After stamping, the plates are randomly tested using a paint test (applying special, easily penetrating cracks, water-soluble red paint on one side of the plate, and showing white paint on the second). The tested plates are washed with water and can be used in heat exchangers.
Repairing a plate heat exchanger sometimes requires replacing part or all of the plate package. It is imperative to maintain the type, material and spatial orientation of the plate in the bag. That is why original spare parts (plates and seals) should be used when servicing plate heat exchangers.
